Abstract

This paper explores the feasibility of using the heat pipe for steam condensation. In this paper an attemptis made to replace thousands of condenser tubes by hundreds of heat pipes. The design details of heat pipe like material, length, diameter etc., are described in this paper. The feasibility study was carried out for smooth operation of the heat pipe that is without ceasing during operation. Experimental setup and results of steam condensation are presented.
